WA Presentation

Len Russell AVCAT CEO

Thank you to the Department of Veterans’ Affairs for hosting the Western Australia Long Tan Bursary and AVCAT Scholarship presentation for 2020 and 2021, which I attended from Sydney via video link.

I especially wish to thank Mr Peter King, DVA Assistant Commissioner for WA who presented the Long Tan Bursary and Mr Milton Brook from RSL WA who presented the Scholarship Awards.

I was thrilled to see all the scholars there receive their scholarship awards, and to hear Alumna Ms Michelle Hall speak about how the AVCAT scholarship assisted her to complete her studies in performing arts.

It is encouraging to see these young people start their academic journey and we look forward to hearing more about their achievements over the coming years.
