AVCAT is delighted to welcome new scholarship sponsor Forestville RSL sub-Branch. Forestville RSL sub-Branch is a pro-active Returned and Services League of Australia (RSL) organisation which furthers the well-being of members, their families and the families of former members who have passed away.
Forestville RSL sub-Branch is a strong supporter of education, their Remembrance Day Education Grants support children of veterans transitioning from primary school into high school. Through sponsorship of an AVCAT Scholarship Forestville RSL sub-Branch now extends their support into tertiary education.
The first Forestville RSL sub-Branch AVCAT Scholarship will be awarded in 2022, to a child or grandchild of an Australian ex-serving veteran living in the Forest area on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
