The Victorian scholarship ceremony was held in Melbourne on Friday 19 May. We were joined by representatives of Bravery Trust, RSL Victoria, Ballarat Legacy and TPI Victoria and Mr Michael Harper, DVA Assistant Secretary and Deputy Commissioner for Victoria, presented the Long Tan Bursary certificates.

Our Alumni guest speaker, Matthew Ulanowski, shared some insights into his journey through tertiary education moving from rural Victoria to Melbourne to attend university and how much the support of AVCAT meant to him and his family. The Long Tan Bursary allowed him to put that extra time and effort into his studies and in working towards his dreams.

Seeing new scholars receive their certificates is the most rewarding part of my job. AVCAT, and our sponsors, support our scholars in attaining a tertiary education that will start their careers in the best possible way.

Congratulations to all our 2023 Victorian scholars.
