AVCAT Welcomes New Sponsor Defence Force Welfare Association (NSW Branch)

AVCAT is delighted to announce Defence Force Welfare Association (NSW Branch) is sponsoring two new scholarships in 2024.

The Defence Force Welfare Association (NSW Branch) (DFWA) is an independent voice for Australian Defence Force members, veterans, and their families.

They advocate to the government on matters affecting the welfare of veterans including rehabilitation of injured veterans, compensation for service injuries, retirement and superannuation and improving service delivery.

DFWA is sponsoring two new scholarships in 2024, the DFWA Joy Jobbins Memorial Scholarship and the DFWA John Haynes Memorial Scholarship. Both scholarships are valued at $5,000 per year for three years.
