Vale Lieutenant Colonel Philip G Badcock OAM (Retd)

It is with great sadness that we inform the AVCAT network that Philip Gavan Badcock OAM died 6 September 2020. Phil served on the AVCAT Board for over 15 years.

Phil was the husband of Diane (deceased), father of Peter and Michael, grandpa of Jonah, Jared, Naomi, Willa, Bonnie and father-in-law to Karina and Sian.

From Major General Bill Crews AO (Retd) Chair of AVCAT on behalf of the Board Directors and staff of AVCAT:

Phil at Highland FM (107.1)

We have lost a great colleague who made a considerable contribution to AVCAT and his wider community. We are better for having worked with him, and will miss his friendship, commitment, energy, wise counsel and sense of humour. RIP Phil.
Our thoughts are with Phil’s family in the difficult time ahead.
