New Sponsor Announcement

AVCAT is proud to announce VESPIIA as a new sponsor for 2026. VESPIIA is Australia’s first full-service professional body for the organisations and professionals supporting our Veterans and their families, continuing the cycle of service.

A word from VESPIIA chair Greg Whitehouse

“VESPIIA is very proud to have been given the opportunity through AVCAT to sponsor a scholarship in 2026 for a veteran family member. The Veteran Community is at the heart of what VESPIIA stands for and we are excited to provide funding for the further education of the children of veterans. Education is vital for the next generation of leaders, innovators and supporters, and this grant will provide peace of mind to the well-deserved recipient through the knowledge that they are fully supported in their endeavours. We look forward to seeing this sponsorship grow over the next few years and welcome more of the VESPIIA members to join us in championing such a great cause and supporting those who support others.”

Len Russell, CEO of AVCAT, states “By VESPIIA sponsoring the children of veterans in their pursuit of a tertiary education, VESPIIA clearly demonstrates their dedication and commitment to making a long-term meaningful impact in the lives of veteran families and the next generation of Australians.”
